So Courtney got to babysit tonight.. and I will tell you.. Hallie did not miss us a bit!! This is her playing dress up with some of Courtney old toys!!

Also, more news in the Vansau house.. Christopher was called back up to the Rangers!! We are of course going to the game tomorrow night, so I will post pictures later!! Yay Christopher!

I have been so awful with keeping up with my blog. With work, school (yes I'm still in it, at one of my close friends said "You're coupling it up with your 10 year reunion), Hallie and Rocky, I find it hard to be on the computer more than I have to. BUT all of my close friends and family have really been into blogging, so once again I realize that I need to keep on, bc with not only with Facebook, this is the best way to document what is REALLY going on with the Vansau's. March of Dimes/Jacy and Payton

I have been meaning to make this post for a while now, but I have just been so busy with school and work. A couple of weeks ago some of my co-workers and I volunteered to do the March of Dimes. Mainly because we loooove babies and another reason is because one our very good friends/co-worker. Stacy Beauchamp had her twins at 24 weeks into her pregnancy. Jacy May weighed 1 lb. 3 oz and was 12 inches long and Payton weighed 1 lb. 5 oz. and was 14.5 inches long. Tomorrow they will be 1 month old and they are doing great!! They have had their ups and downs (especially Payton) but more ups than downs! And today Stacy was able to hold Jacy for the first time!
Anyway, Rocky and Hallie were going to walk with me but it rained so they had to stay at home. I did however, get a few pics of Hallie in her shirt supporting her new friends!!

At the exhibition game on Saturday

We all went to Arlington last weekend to see the Rangers play in an exhibition game on Saturday and then Opening day on Monday. We had so much fun and Hallie loved it. (Sorry to tell her that she has no choice but to love baseball) She sat through both games and was soooo good! I only got a couple because it was so cold and we were trying to keep her bundled up, but I know there will be more to come!!

HAPPY EASTER

Well this was Hallie's first Easter and I will say that I was so disappointed. We all got ready for church and right as we were walking out the door the bottom of the sky fell out. Mimi called and told us not to come because we would have been completely drenched. When Mimi says don't come to church.. you know its bad!!! But I still got some pictures of Hallie in her Easter dress. I can't wait until next year so we can hunt easter eggs.

P.S. We took Hallie to see the Easter Bunny and we had to literally peel her out of his lap!! She just laughed and loved on him and did not want to leave. It was so cute!

I know! I know!! It's been way too long to not post. My computer has been ill but she feels much better now!! I have spent all night uploading new pictures on my computer and I realized that there is absolutely no way I can post 5 months worth of pictures, so I will post some from a few months back. Hallie is changing more and more everyday and she is sooo much fun. She likes pretty much all of her veggies (except green peas and I dont blame her!! EEEKK) and her fruits. Squash and I believe bananas are her favorite, but she is still making it through the fruits. Today we started her on her meats. She ate Turkey and Rice and seemed to like it pretty good!! She still sleeps 10-12 hours a night (I know.. I'm lucky) and she wants to crawl so stinking bad. To be honest though, she might skip the whole crawling business and go straight to walking. She love her teachers at school and after she comes home I can tell how good it is for her to be around other babies. Hallie always has a smile on her face and loves to observe. She is such a great baby and Rocky and I are so lucky to have her in our lives and love her more than she will ever know!!!

Watching cartoons with Daddy

Well this was Hallie's first Thanksgiving and we had a few firsts to happen. First of all, earlier this week Hallie laughed for the first time.. 4 times!! It was the sweetest sound I have ever heard. She also laughed for Mimi, so I know it wasn't an accident! Next, Hallie had her first sleep over at her Mimi's house with Mimi and Grammy and Christopher!! I will admit it was tough leaving her, but she was in very good hands and it was very nice to have some alone time with my husband that I haven't seen in 3 months. :) Then, I am proud to announce (drum roll please) that Hallie ROLLED OVER this weekend. Not once but TWICE!! We are so proud of her. When she rolled on her tummy though she had absolutely no idea of what to do. And of course, as luck would have it, I did not have my stinking camera. But, she will do it again and I will definitely post some pics. So for now here are a few new pictures...

Well another month has gone by and my sweet baby is getting bigger. She weighs about 13 lbs now!! She is learning to grab things and she loves to watch me and Rocky walk around. She also loves to sit in her Bumbo chair and watch T.V. She is getting to where she really likes being in her swing, and when she lays in bed she "talks" to her little friends hanging above her. I think we might have a talker :) The sound of her voice is the sweetest thing in the world. She is also starting to smile at EVERYTHING and loves to blow bubbles. We are working on rolling over. I feel like we are talking to a dang dog when we say.. "C'mon Hallie, Roll over, roll over..." haha. She wants to roll over so bad when she is laying on the floor, but it just starts to frustrate her and she gets mad. The only thing that she hates, and I mean HATES to do is lay on her tummy. Other than that, this baby is the most laid back, easy going little girl. I can't wait to see what new things she does this month!!

Well, Hallie is 2 months old today, and people were not lying when they said it would fly by. She is the sweetest, prettiest baby and she is changing so fast. She is starting to smile alot and coo a little bit. And she is the best morning baby (she gets that from her dad, not from me :)). When I go into her room in the morning she has the BIGGEST smile on her face and just waits for me to pick her up. We have her two month shots tomorrow which means we won't have to be in hiding anymore!! I am pretty nervous about that, but she will do just fine. (I hope). I also go back to work on Tuesday. Ready to get back on a schedule, but I will definitely miss spending time with her during the day. Here are a few of her just hanging out, something she's very good at!
